The Fish Kit Is Here

To help us celebrate the reopening of our San Francisco and Portland stores after a long lockdown, Jeremy Fish has created The Fish Kit, featuring two new limited edition designs, The Bird Is The Word and Bunny Beard. Jeremy also worked with us to cook up a Golden Ticket Giveaway to celebrate the launch. Lucky winners get one of three signed original pencil drawings by Jeremy. ...And Justice For All By Sam Flores

Produced in collaboration with long time Upper Playground artist Sam Flores, And Justice For All  is inspired by and reinterprets the Statue of Liberty in observance of the Black Lives Matter movement and acknowledgment of the constraints that the Corona Virus has put on the freedom of our communities.

And Justice for All was created for the Summer Select release of our UP Stoked Cannabis line. She evokes the contemplative high and serenity Summer Justice Select delivers. In the bag for this release is Grease Monkey, indoor grown by Canndecent Farms in Palm Desert Springs, California.  Summer Justice Select is citrusy, sweet, with an earthy nose. The big buds are dark green, dense, and hand trimmed, with a classic Grease Monkey look.  A heavy indica, it smokes smooth delivering a very relaxed, slow you down, deep heavy mind and body high.  A little goes a long way with this top shelf pick.

Fists UP Fundraiser for the Black Lives Matter Movement

We are inspired by the millions of people who are contributing their voices to fight bigotry and intolerance.  Upper Playground does not tolerate racism or police brutality and stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and those seeking justice for George Floyd, Breanna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and all the other unnamed victims throughout history.

To help support this important movement, we have created Fists UP, a collection of designs we think speak to the moment. All profits from the sale of these products will be donated to local on-the-ground organizations that are doing vital work to support protesters and their communities. These organizations include People's Breakfast in Oakland, the Bay Area Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, and Don't Shoot PDX and the NAACP in Portland.
