New Designs by Japanese artist, Usugrow is released at Upper Playground this week. Usugrow, a master of the black and white aesthetic in calligraphy forms, pursued classic lady like figures and references like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s to illustrate ‘Katrina’ and ‘Breakfast with Usugrow’. Sam Flores will be at our Upper Playground San Francisco location at 220 Fillmore Street from 5-7PM tomorrow evening for a special limited edition release, just in time for the holidays. These rare laser etched wood panels with art work by Sam Flores have been beautifully produced ready to be hung as is. The solid birch wood frames are 11x14inches by 1-5/8 inches deep and have been hand stained and varnished with care. Only 25 of these wood panels were produced. There will be a limited number of these panels also available online beginning 5PM tomorrow evening at www.upperplayground.com
