Straight from the source, Upper Playground photos delivered from the Swiss Alps for a glimpse into the #choematrix in Sion, Switzerland.  David Choe spent the week fogging up the fresh Swiss air with paint fumes, finishing an estimated 650+ wine boxes stacked together to form multiple canvases.  Check it out:

A few months ago, David Choe left a note for Herbert Baglione two stories above the ground.  Herbert who is currently in Mexico city for the occasion of his solo show, OBITUARY at Fifty24MX responded in kind and their long distance collaboration turned out like this:

David Choe and Estevan Oriol’s recent trip to the Middle East with Upper Playground concluded at The Pavillion, in Dubai.  Their 40 minute presentation titled ‘VIP, No Problem: David Choe and Estevan Oriol’s Journey Through the Middle East’ included a photo presentation of their journey through Turkey, Afghanistan and Dubai with additional commentary by David and Estevan.  A Q&A session was held afterwards.

Just across the street from the mural of Aryz and David Choe, another mural graced by Retna, Critter Fleming, David Choe and Aryz was completed in Los Angeles this week.

David Choe comments on his mural on his Instagram post: “No woman exists who possesses an elongated torso and ass like that, those proportions to that head and arm don’t exist in this realm, it really bothers me and I want to fix it but then again the beast she’s napping on only exits on alternate earth2. So fuck it. @mr_aryz @ironeyeretna @criterfleming we paint the fantastic.”
