Legendary San Francisco DJ Claude VonStroke started the Dirtybird record label in 2005. In those days, he spent a lot of time in the Upper Playground store in the Lower Haight checking out designs and buying Jeremy Fish t-shirts, which basically became the uniform for his crew. Since then Dirtybird has become one of the most influential labels and events company in the world of electronic music.
So when it came time to celebrate their 15th anniversary, Dirtybird turned to Jeremy help them design a line of apparel, skate decks and a coffee table book that all say Dirtybird in the way only Jeremy can. We've cherry-picked some inventory on a few of our favorite items for Upper Playground fans, now available online.
Can check out this interview in Flaunt with Jeremy and Claude VonStroke covering their histories in SF, the Lower Haight, and Upper Playground. It's worth a read.
