FIFTY24SF Gallery, in association with Upper Playground, is pleased to announce our closing exhibition of 2012, Lion and the Lamb, featuring brand new works from San Francisco-based fine artist, Sam Flores. Lion marks Flores’ first showing in his hometown in nearly a decade, and his first solo show since 2011′s Cairo exhibition at Articulate Baboon. Flores has long been a collaborator with Upper Playground, with his 12Grain line a staple in our collection every year. The exhibition opens Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at FIFTY24SF Gallery in San Francisco.

“My new show delves into themes that I touch on a lot in my work,” Flores told us. “The struggle of good and bad light and dark, innocence and evil. I’m taking you to a more rich, colorful world of struggle temptation and hope.”
