and here is the bird again

yesterday morning while taking a walk around the neighborhood we found a baby bird that fell out of his nest. there was no way we could put it back since it was three stories above us and there was no way he could fly back up by himself. cars were speeding close by, he almost got run over..... so we took him home. we feed him a mixture of cornmeal and baby rice (with a syringe), and after a day he is almost strong enough to fly out of his box; the whole time he's been communicating with his kind, some of whom have come to visit him in the backyard.
the thing that sucks is that we can't leave the house for more than a couple of hours at a time cause we need to feed him. it's almost like having a newborn again.
